Its boiling point is notably low at -33.5ºC, and it can further solidify into a snow-like form with a melting point of -77.75ºC. Ammonia is highly soluble in water, ethanol, and ether, making it a key player in various solutions. Under high temperatures, it decomposes into nitrogen and hydrogen while exhibiting a reducing property. In the presence of a catalyst, it undergoes oxidation to form nitric oxide. Its applications are vast and include the production of liquid nitrogen, ammonia water, nitric acid, ammonium salts, and various amines.
